STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted for questioning in connection with a forcible touching incident aboard an MTA bus in Port Richmond last month.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 12:30 a.m. on Monday, June 22, when a 17-year-old girl was riding an S59 bus near Port Richmond Avenue and Hatfield Place.

Police said an unidentified man approached the teen and touched her over her clothing before getting off the bus and fleeing on foot eastbound on Palmer Avenue.

The victim was not injured, authorities said.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the sought individual and is asking anyone with information about his identity or whereabouts to come forward.
