A man who was holding a Tibetan flag outside United Nations headquarters in Manhattan died Thursday after setting himself on fire, authorities said.
Police responded to a 911 call at about 6:30 p.m. and found the 52-year-old man suffering from severe burns over his body, according to the NYPD.
