STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A parked vehicle was sideswiped during an alleged hit and run in West Brighton on Tuesday, according to police.
Around 3:40 a.m., the driver of a 2002 Cadillac sideswiped a parked 2019 Mercedes vehicle on Bard Avenue, near the intersection of South St. Austins Place, a spokesperson for the NYPD said.
The driver of the Cadillac then attempted to flee, according to the spokesperson. The incident was reported as the driver leaving the scene of the accident.
No injuries were reported during the collision, according to the FDNY.
