The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 13-year-old girl who was reported missing from Brighton Beach in Brooklyn last week.
According to police, Marina Ovchinnikova was last seen leaving her residence on the 3000 block of Ocean Parkway on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at approximately 1:20 p.m.
Ovchinnikova is described as a female, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds, police said. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, black sneakers and a black backpack.
The NYPD released a photo of Ovchinnikova and is urging anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
