NYPD: 2 women found dead in Park Slope apartment

Two women were found dead from multiple stab wounds in an apartment in Brooklyn on Saturday, police said.

Officers responded just before 8 p.m. Saturday after a 911 call of a woman being assaulted inside an apartment building at 386 2nd Street, near 5th Avenue, in Park Slope, police said.

Inside the apartment, police discovered the body of a 59-year-old woman who had multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Responding officers then found a 23-year-old woman with stab wounds at the same location. She was also pronounced dead at the scene, according to the NYPD.

The identities of the two women are being withheld, pending family notification.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
