A 31-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested and charged with murder after a shooting in Coney Island left a man dead behind the wheel of his crashed SUV, police said.

Eugene Ohemeng was taken into custody late Tuesday and charged with murder and gun possession for allegedly killing Ronald Williams, 38, earlier in the day, according to police.

Williams was shot in the chest and arm on Ocean Drive near Surf Avenue, police said.

After being shot, Williams crashed his gray Chevy Equinox into three parked cars before coming to a stop outside the Coney Island Houses, about a block from where the shooting was reported.

Williams was found dead behind the wheel with the SUV’s passenger window shot out.

Ohemeng lives in an apartment building on the block where the shooting occurred, according to police.

The victim’s SUV had Florida plates and Williams had an address in Atlanta, though police said it was not immediately clear whether he lived there or had recently moved to New York City, the Daily News reported.

Police said the suspect and victim had an earlier argument, though what they fought about remains unclear.
